A G-Wave In Mindfulness
Unseen, but transformative
A G-Wave, in physics, is a ripple moving through the fabric of reality, known not by what we see directly, but by the effect it leaves behind. Riding the Wave is intended to move through human experience in much the same way—touching something beneath the surface of how we think, feel, and understand ourselves.

We are oceans walking on land.
Riding the Wave is not a book you simply read, but something you begin to recognize within yourself.
Our bodies are made largely of water. Every breath, every emotion, every memory, and every act of healing moves through the living Inner Sea we carry within us.
Riding the Wave: Symphony of the Inner Sea invites you to rediscover that sea—and to awaken the whale within, the deepest part of yourself that has always remembered who you are: a divine being having a human experience.
Blending modern science, somatic practice, ancient wisdom, guided experiences, and original music composed by Galit McCord, Riding the Wave offers a new way of understanding healing—not as repairing something broken, but as remembering the extraordinary intelligence that has always lived within you.
As you learn to recognize the currents moving through your Inner Sea, you begin to participate in your own healing. You become less reactive, more present, more resilient, and more deeply connected to yourself. Rather than being carried by every wave life brings, you discover how to ride it—with greater awareness, compassion, clarity, and peace.
This is more than a book.
It is an immersive journey into the waters of your own consciousness... a journey that awakens the whale within and guides you home to the ocean you have carried inside you all along.

Why This Matters Now
A pandemic moved across the world and did more than take lives. It unsettled how we gather, how we trust, and how we carry one another. Before we could regain our footing, another force began to rise—artificial intelligence—faster, quieter, and far less understood, reshaping how we think, work, create, and even measure ourselves against machines.
This is not a passing moment. It is a turning.
The future will demand steadiness in the midst of uncertainty, clarity in the presence of endless distraction, and an inner foundation that cannot be downloaded, purchased, or programmed.
Those who will feel this transformation most are our children. They are growing up in a world of constant stimulation, relentless comparison, and accelerating change, yet few are being taught how to remain connected to themselves beneath the current.
That is the gap—and it is widening.
Riding the Wave begins there. Through story, music, guided experiences, and the wisdom of the Inner Sea, it offers a path to greater resilience, presence, and self-awareness—for adults and for the generations that follow.
This is why it matters now.
Because the future will not slow down for us. But it can be met—not with fear, but with awareness; not with disconnection, but with a deeper remembrance of who we are.
Music From The Inner Sea
Throughout Riding the Wave, readers will encounter original songs, written and performed by Galit -- woven directly into the journey itself through embedded QR codes, allowing the emotional movement of selected chapters to continue beyond the page.
Each piece is intended to echo the inner life of the chapter it accompanies—not simply illustrating the ideas, but carrying them deeper into feeling, memory, and experience, where the reader is invited not only to understand the journey intellectually, but to hear and feel it moving beneath the surface.
What follows is an early glimpse into that world.

THE NEXT WAVE

Riding the Wave is meant to come first. It lays the foundation, introducing the Inner Sea and the understanding that beneath all the noise of our lives, something within us is still trying to remember its own rhythm.
But the vision does not end there.
From that sea, another current is intended to rise. That current is Wave Rider—a series of stories created for younger generations, not to help them escape the world, but to help them remain human within it.
Mirroring the great journeys that have always captured the imagination of children, Wave Rider is intended to open the door to adventure, wonder, friendship, danger, discovery, and the feeling that something larger than ourselves is moving beneath the surface of things. But unlike worlds built on fantasy alone, the deeper currents beneath these stories are rooted in something real.
Wave Rider meets young people where they are—not through instruction, but through experience. Through stories that allow them to steady themselves in fear, remain present in uncertainty, and recognize the movement within their emotions instead of being consumed by it.
Like the story of the protagonist of Wave Rider, a young boy who, upon entering his Inner Sea, meets his higher self — a guide who leads him into extraordinary adventures through hidden worlds, memory, emotion, and the unseen currents connecting all life.
This is not separate from Riding the Wave. It grows from it. The first book lays the ground. Wave Rider carries the current forward, giving younger generations a language for the inner world before life teaches them to turn away from it.
And perhaps the greatest gift we can leave behind is not protection from the waves, but the courage, awareness, and compassion to teach them how to ride them.
The School Of The Inner Sea
Coming 2028

Learn. Practice. Transform
The School of the Inner Sea is an online learning environment built on the philosophy of Riding the Wave—a place where the ideas of the book move from concept into practice.
Through guided courses, participants will learn how to work with the inner currents that shape thought, emotion, and behavior, and how to integrate those principles into daily life.
The school will offer a pathway to certification, preparing individuals to become Navigators—those who can guide others in applying these practices in meaningful, grounded ways.
Courses will explore themes such as presence, emotional resilience, and the practical application of awareness—what it means, in real terms, to “walk on water.”
This is not simply a program. It is the beginning of a shared language, a discipline, and a community built around the lived experience of the inner sea.

As above, so within, and below
Galit McCord

Long before Riding the Wave had language, Galit McCord experienced the world through rhythm, intuition, emotion, sound, movement, and the unseen currents flowing beneath human experience. What would later become the philosophy of Riding the Wave first existed as sensation—a lifelong awareness that beneath thought, fear, and identity itself, something deeper was always moving.
Born with the name Galit, meaning “female wave,” McCord is a psychology graduate whose lifelong exploration of music, contemplative practice, photography, and film led her to a simple yet profound realization: we are oceans walking on land. The understanding that our bodies are composed largely of water became the seed from which the concept of the Inner Sea and the principles of Somatic Wave Therapy naturally emerged.
An award-winning singer-songwriter, producer, entrepreneur, artist, and creative strategist, McCord has worked across film, music, technology, and international business. She co-founded SRO Entertainment, co-produced Ask the Dust with Tom Cruise, and helped finance Monster, starring Charlize Theron, and Havoc, starring Anne Hathaway.
She has also released four albums and more than thirty original songs and continues to serve on the Board of Directors of Nova U.S. and on the boards of several other companies.
Across every endeavor, her search has remained the same: to listen for the deeper rhythms that shape human life.
With Riding the Wave, McCord brings together modern science, somatic practice, ancient wisdom, guided experiences, and original music in an immersive journey that invites readers not merely to understand healing, but to experience it.
For Galit McCord, Riding the Wave is more than a book. It is an invitation to rediscover the ocean within—to remember that we are oceans walking on land and that beneath every breath, every emotion, and every memory, the Inner Sea has always been quietly carrying us home.
